With a new electronic platform and improved image processing algorithms, the binoculars offer a new approach to image optimization for any observation purpose and conditions. A powerful French-made Lynred 640×480/17μm thermal imaging sensor with NETD <25mK ensures perfect detail recognition even under the harshest weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The quality of the sensor results in a sharp thermal imaging with rich contrast for improved identification of animals, their limbs and even the smallest details such as branches, leaves, grass or ground. The Merger's ultimate detection efficiency is achieved by combining the highly sensitive thermal sensor with the fast aperture German F50/1.0 lens. The power of the lens and the sensitivity of the sensor ensure exceptional detection capabilities. A typical object 1.8 m high can be detected up to 1800 m away in total darkness.

With the new Merger LRF XP50 you will be able to accurately calculate the target distance needed to make the right decision. A built-in long-range laser rangefinder allows you to measure distances up to 1000 m in single measurement or in continuous sweep mode with ± 1 meter accuracy for fast, error-free evaluation of a scenario. You can operate the device for up to 10 hours on a single battery charge. In addition, the dual battery system allows you to quickly replace one of the batteries in total darkness without turning off the device. This reliable companion is designed for continuous and hard use. The high-quality reinforced magnesium alloy body is lightweight and durable. The housing reliably protects the internal components of the device from shock, drops, moisture, heat and cold. At the same time, the metal housing effectively dissipates temperature from the electronic circuits, minimizing image noise and increasing the quality of operation during long hours of observation.
