Measures the rate at which you climb or descend so you can get more accurate data and insights into your upward or downward movements when you train in varying terrains. 3D Speed factors in the speed you're going on a horizontal plane, and the speed you're going vertically, to calculate your true speed as you move onwards and upwards.

Running Index

After every run, you get a Running Index score based on the relationship between heart rate and speed. A single number to see your progress and compare to gender and age related aerobic fitness norms. Because Running Index gives you an estimate of your maximal aerobic performance, it is a good predictor of your finish time for popular race distances, from 5k to marathon.
